No I didn`t... got scolded from a Tokyo friend for going to Nationwide Torikizoku Franchise when visiting Osaka... was too lazy to go to Umeda or Namba.
Located in the basement of a building.
Seasonal special dishes.
Torikozoku once had a price point of 280 yen... then 298 yen and recently went up to 350 yen. Alot of alternatives come up when you are charging 2 Yakitori for 350 yen.
But stock is hitting new highs due to price increase, nearly Zero Covid19 death rate and everyone is out and about!
Chicken karaage in Curry Soup...
Tori-Kamameshi is a must! Takes about 30 minutes to cook.
The rice has chicken, carrots, gobo... seasoned.
If you want any seasoning just select from the tablet.
Both American and Jpop on the BGM.
Free Wifi
2nd Mega-Kinmugi Beer... the couple sitting right next to me was on a Tinder date. Seems the half Japanese/American uni girl had an American boyfriend but she was hungry. The Japanese guy was trying his best... Oh well.
2 beers, rice and 1 curry soup... 350 x 4. No table charge otoshi fee! Which is nice.
When unsure of where to dine Torikizoku is always a great choice. The staff here was attentive and bilingual! Nice folks.
