IKEBUKURO: APIZZA Pizzeria... 280yen Cheese Pizzas! Perhaps the cheapest in Tokyo?

The menu and prices are posted outside along the wall and just had to give the 280yen "Simple A" cheese pizza a try~.

Happy Hour drinks M-F.

A bit smaller than I expected but had a generous portion of cheese and the crust was nice and chewy.  Great deal with beer in hand at the park.

I'll definitely be back for more A-Pizza if I'm in this part of town.

IKEBUKURO: Kamikawaguchi-Ya Old-Skool Japanese candy shop at Kishimojin Temple... Hanami Season!

March 31st and April 1st the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom so had to take advantage of the beautiful day and do a little Hanami at Kishimonjin Temple.

Spotted a very retro old skool candy shop that kids in Japan can visit with just a few pennies.

The Goddess Kishimojin is said to bring luck for fertility and child bearing.

Cat on duty~

Cat Postcards.

The owner was so friendly suggesting what items were popular. Prices started at 10yen or so.

Original 150 yen post cards with her cat.

My friend selected most of the items that he had as a child...

My favorite was the boiled octopus stick with yuzu flavor.

If you hanami here there is a bathroom too.

If you are in Tokyo this week you must get out and find a random park with blooming cherry.

Anyone else on Google+ get celebrity photobomb by #Hoffsom on April Fools Day!?

DAIKANYAMA: Kyogo Bar with tiny OWLS! Neat spot with a very friendly owner

This tiny Owl greeted us at the entry way.

We were drinking in Shibuya when my friend Dai said he just had to goto Kyogo to say farewell to the part-time waitress who is moving on to Nomura Securities... so we followed Dai to a cool little spot along the tracks of Daikanyama.

Very friendly owner Naomi in the black and red stripped dress... couldn't be nicer.

Round of Jagerbombs...

And so Dai sings...

It was just such a great little discovery Daikanyama... I believe the owner is fluent in English so give it a try.
