This time prior to visiting Okinawa I scanned #Okinawa hashtags and came across Yuuki Oshiro`s Mikasa Shokudo foodie recommendation... had to go! https://www.instagram.com/yuuki_oshiro/
This is it! Champon
Counter seating if you want to watch the ladies cook.
Watch this Instagram Story to learn how to make it.
Grilled onions, ground beef, egg and shops special sweet seasoning. It was good but a bit on the too sweet side for me.
The elderly chef and staff were all super friendly. Lots of regulars this day as its about a 20 minute walk from the Kokusai Street touristy district.
If you like Okinawan home style cooking you should try! I would definitely recommend the Yakiniku teishoku as it was only 750 yen and lots of volume... gonna get that next time.
