Several times a year Tonkatsu no Katsuya has these stunning specials... and they just started their year end customer appreciation sale! Of course I went for the most expensive item as everything was discounted to 550 yen!
A full house when I arrived but only took a few minutes to get seated.

The curry had a great sweet spiciness to it. plus the super generous portion of Tonkatsu pork cutlet... and side of diced cabbage.
It was such a value for 550 yen!! Roughly $4.
They use US Pork!!! Gotta support the USA Pork Farmers... but with the yen at such weak levels Im sure profit margins here are hurting.
Free sweet pickles were sooo perfect with the spicy curry.
