Im kinda of a budget guy when it comes to eating at airport because everything is just a bit more expensive compared to similar things out in the city.
Dining in is about 1.5x higher but you get free rice, cabbage and miso soup refills.
BENTO! Slightly higher price point than my goto Tonkatsu Wako franchise but had to try!
Just noticed by menu says +300 yen for 金星佐賀豚 special Golden Star Saga Prefecture Pork. Might have to try that next time.
Bento options are Rosu and Filet Katsu. Filet is much more tender and rosu a bit more firm/fatty.
Made to order so it will take about 10 minutes.
Bento was sooo heavy... lot of Fukuoka rice.
They use plastic packaging! So fancy... its normally thin laminated paper box.
Pickles and sauce
Yellow mustard and salad dressing for the minced cabbage.
JUICY and crunchy on the outside! Leaves a thin layer of oil on your lips. The cheaper franchise spots are normally dry with very little fat. It was soooo good. Pork is sourced from Japan.
Pickles... sweet crunchy texture.
The oily juiciness can be a little overwhelming.
If I ever spot Golden Pig again I will definitely buy another bento. GOGO!
