On the scout for cozy restaurants and saw a girl eating alone at the counter... normally you will see ladies in really good restaurants. For us guys think its more about the drinking part.
My counter view but just to my right was the grill!
Always a fan of bottled beer vs draft.
First off Liver with sesame seed oil.
Negima chicken.
Minced chicken meat on a stick... tsukune!
Hot Hirezake dried fugu fin sake (pufferfish, blowfish). Had a nice burnt flavor to it.. perfect for the winter! Only my 2nd time to try it... first was in Nakano
The girl at the counter was a nurse from Okinawa. She suggested closing out them meal with a grilled rice ball and soup.
A great place but definitely try to sit where I did! You get a full view of the chef grilling all sorts of chicken and veggies. Will be back!
