When in Shimbashi I try to hit up Okamuraya for a tasty tender stewed beef bowl.
Here it is you all! Added a Sony RX100M3 to the foodie blog line-up! I love the RX100 but its 28mm lens is too tight to get candid photos but the 24mm RX100M3 is a bit wider so should be fun.
Everything is pictured so just point! Many of the staff was from South East Asia so you can practice a language other than Japanese... the waiter seemed like he was from Thailand or Vietnam.
Oh no! RX100M3 out of focus? Looks like its focusing on black pot in the background. Why?
The juices from the meat soak into the rice...
Huge seasoned daikon... sooo flavorful.
Block of tofu sandwiched between the toppings and the rice.
Consomme soup is an additional 60 yen.
Counter seats and if you are alone you will have to share your table... in Japanese its called "Ai-Sehki"
The power of a 24mm lens... you can get people in the shot without looking too obvious. Overall this is definitely a step above other beef bowl places like Matsuya so gotta try!
