I rarely look for a Groupon deal in the Ebisu area but couldn't resist this awesome meat sushi photo... 2,500 yen with 6 item course and nomihoudai.
They had real beer on the all you can drink menu!
Normally the Premium Malts draft costs a hefty 580 yen... must have had 3 or 4 of these.
First dish was I think a pork... almost tasted like Mimiga or pig ear. Had a crunchy cartilage texture.
2nd item came in a iron pan. Assumed it was hot but the chicken was cold... weird.
Roast beef with a tiny round cabbage with what seemed to be truffle dressing. Another cold item.
This was what I was waiting for! The raw beef sushi. But had such a tough texture that you really had to bite quite a bit just swallow.
Unfortunately a duck also came in the mix. Again everything was cold.
6th dish was the dessert... store bought I assume.
Regular menu is all written in Japanese so not very foreigner friendly.
The best part of the experience was the super attentive and quick waiter. I had just ordered a beer then a few minutes later he let us know it was last call for alcohol. Normally restaurants won't serve you another drink if you currently have one. But he let us order another.
Interesting that the waiter had tattoos down his arm like sleeves... kinda like Yakuza style. This was the friendly guy.
Noticed an all you can eat meat sushi menu... not too sure about eating so much raw meat.
Overall the food was cold and very unmemorable... I'm surprised not 1 dish was hot. Anyways this place is rather small and dark so I wouldn't suggest going here. If you like to drink heavily then why not do the Groupon deal.
