NOGATA: McDonalds... the only item that has not been affected by inflation. 200 yen Supa-Chiki aka Spicy Chicken Sandwich. (Sony RX100)

There was a time when McD`s offered burgers for 60yen... then they moved it into the 100 yen menu ($1 Menu) and now its a whopping 170 yen!  Even the chicken crisp sandwich went up from 100 yen to 180 yen..

These are the least expensive burger options at McD`s now.  The only item that has not been affected by any price increases is the Supa-Chiki.. holding at 200 yen for some reason.  Thats all me!

The Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The sauce is a very creamy sweet and kinda Sriacha spice flavor.  Its sooooo delicous!  The only item I buy consistently at McDs.  

If in Japan just say Supa-Chiki Kudasai and hand them 2 silver coins ne!

ROPPONGI HILLS: McDonalds... Its like the Ritz Carlton in here... well kinda.

I don't normally blog fast food burger spots but this has got to be one of the most posh, spacious and comfy McD's ever... great place just to chill.

Spotted it.  BBQ Beef and Chicken specials for a limited time.

There's a McCafe similar to Starbucks on 1F

There it is!  Bacon, Cheese, Onions, Beef Patty, Huge Boiled Flat Egg and BBQ Sauce!

I'm rather picky when it comes to burgers but the BBQ sauce was rather good and the combination with the boiled egg... well I unusually enjoyed the McD's burger.

The RHills Crosspoint McD's is a great spot to kill a little time or meet up with friends.. no time limits and you can even go for the 100yen menu to relax in this great atmosphere.  Oh, the entrance is outside behind ZARA.  

Revisited on May 12th... Its extremely rare that I'm in Roppongi all night but seems there is maintenance during 4-5am. The 5th Anniversary event at Rigoletto kept me out... very long night.

ROPPONGI: Burger King for a easy 180yen Cheeseburger!

This is probably the closest restaurant from Oedo/Hibiya Line... just exit out the Roppongi Crossing exit and mid way via the stairs you'll see the BK sign.

Burgers are 150yen and CheeseBurgers 180yen.

Very spacious interior with comfy booth seats.

Thats what you get for 180yen!  I'm not much of a McD or BK fan but its quick and occasionally hits the spot.

AKASAKA: Burger King tricked me with their amazing food photographer!

If you are in search of a restaurant in Tokyo and are attempt by an easy Burger King burger don't do it!  There are soooo many great places in Tokyo to eat!

... but what caught my eye was the "NEW" BK RiNGO burger...  perfectly stacked with fresh lettuce, grilled tomato, what appears to be a patty with lovely melted cheese and with the 490yen set you get a choice of small drink, french fries or onion rings!  Against my better judgement this mouth watering photograph lured me in!

Oh yeah... I'm #24!  I can't wait!!

Hmm... the wrapper for the burger looked awefully small... much like the 100yen burger at McDonalds.

What!?  This thing was honestly smaller than a McDonalds 100yen hamburger... and if you decide to order it alone its 240yen (without drink and onion rings).  It did not look like the picture!  Ugh... and when I bit into it the yellow stuff wasn't cheese but a sweet yellow mustard dressing!  And do you see that lovely grilled tomato?  I sure didn't... ugh...

But honestly this place has great onion rings~

I left about 1/3 of my burger... I just kinda couldn't justify adding extra calories with all the mayonnaise hidden inside the burger.  Its a very comfy BK and located right next to Akasaka Station but... there are just too many choices in that 500yen range.  Anyways... I guess grilled BK flame broiled burger are a better option to McD's grilled burgers.
