My 2nd attempt to give Nakano Daikichi a try! Best not to go around 7pm as it can get very busy.
The automatic appetizer... cabbage was a bit on the too green side. Cabbage turns green as it ages... continues to grow especially if exposed to light.
Bottled beer a must!
Hand Towel.
The mixed alcoholic drinks were all in Japanese. Jin, Wine, shochu, nihonshu, casis, soft drinks, whisky.
Beer, zero alcohol beer, sour and whisky hi-balls
My counter view.
Must get very busy here... they have a pen and paper to write down orders.
Counter seating view of the kitchen area. Suggest not sitting in front of the grill because its quite warm there.
One Negi-Banban
One Kara-Tomato (Spicy)
The shiso maki was very flavorful.
Must have been around 9:30pm at this time... only me.
Daily specials.
Had to get seconds! Noticed it takes about 10 minutes for the yakitori to come out... a good sign. They take their time to properly grill the yakitori.
Free mini ice cream!
When considering an inexpensive Yakitori Franchise we normally think of Torikizoku with their food/drink 298yem menu BUT! Daikichi is franchised to individual owners and the staff is very friendly. If you spot one definitely give it a try!
