Tokyo is back! No more coronavirus restrictions! Govenor said that the responsibility lies with each one of us to stay masked and safe rather than further enforcing lockdown rules.
This sign caught my eye. 500 yen drinks and no cover charge.
Started from the top of the menu. Todays brandy hi-ball special.
Found out that their main branch is located in Kyoto and opened up the Nakano branch in December 2019... https://osakeno-museum.com/tenpo/
Lots of rotating artwork on the walls.
All 500 yen!
The most expensive item was the Suntory Yamazaki single malt 12 year.
Asked the friendly guy next to me what was the most expensive liquor... pointed to the white and gold bottle.
500 yen that included a water back.
There was a friendly birthday lady who shared some of her pizza with the crowd and got everyone a round of white wine... all joined in the Bday song.
You can order food from other restaurants nearby and they will deliver it to the bar.
The b-day lady.
Bartenders recommendation. Monkey 47 dry gin.
Another recommended drink.
He said not to mix it right away but enjoy the liquor on top then it will slowly blend in as time goes by.
I'm more of a beer and hi-ball drinker but this place sure did have a wonderful selection of very smooth whisky. All 3 bartenders were super friendly and its just so easy to chat up people here... if in Nakano you gotta go!!
