This newly build amazing commercial and office structure behind Shibuya station has been a big Tokyo attraction and houses some top tier firms. My first time to dine here.
Friends banker associates selected Suju Dining for a Friday evening dinner.
The "Otoshi" (1,680yen for 4 people automatically added to the tab)... Think this spot is famous for miso thus the miso (soy bean) beans seasoned cucumbers... I see more cucumbers in Japan than anywhere... Pro baseball games, festivals, izakaya's... a huge hit.
3 types of miso paste with veggies.
Sashimi
And of course we had sake... honestly it was so incredibly smooth we ended up finishing nearly 16 small bottles at a chunky cost of 13,000yen! And it sure did hit us hard...
Great L shaped counter seating with quite a few ladies.
Grilled chicken with Lemon
And I closed with some clam miso soup and rice.
Our waitress pictured here was fully bilingual and so was much of the staff here. If you have any questions at all about the menu just give one of the waitresses a holler... they were incredibly friendly and service was excellent!
Overall the view, quality of food, atmosphere, service and cozy end booth made the evening a success but I encourage you to go easy on the Sake as nearly half our bill was Alcohol... I can only assume they carry some of the better selections here. If you have a chance to visit Hikarie http://www.hikarie.jp/ its definitely worth a look. Oh, there were nearly 80% women diners on a Friday night... the restaurant floors are a hit for OL's. FYI: Average customer spend is 6,000 - 7,999yen per person according to Japan's foodie website.
