I was in the area and saw a group of 4 young girls lined up for some Taiwanese ramen... they took a while to get their ramen tickets from the machine and noticed another line at the neighboring ramen shop Tomirai Chatted up the salarymen and said this place was pretty good if you like heavy broth. I'm in!
1st time so always push the top left corner button... shops most recommended dish.
I was seated on the 2nd floor... it was a full house when I arrived. Nice mix of girls and guys.
My table for 2.
Soup was perfectly thick... and a nice balance of fish gyokai soup.
Garlic topping if you like.
The table of 4 behind me.
Its so rare I finish all the soup but it sure was addictive.
For a lowly 3.00 ranking on Tabelog this really isn't ranked correctly in my opinion... perhaps its because there are so few ramen shops here and thus so few ramen connoisseurs or maybe the folks just don't like heavy broth soup stock in these parts. But it was the perfect balance of alot of toppings, chewy noodles, tasty soup and friendly service all for 880yen. I'm sure I'll be back!

Oh drat. I think I mailed postcards back to North America from a mailbox on this corner before walking up to The Watering Hole pub one Sunday evening. What I wound up eating at the Watering Hole was probably not as savory as this ramen shack.
