OKINAWA YAESE: Yae Izakaya... lots of friendly home cooked items and Horse Meat! (Sony RX100)

Okinawans have something called Muai where friends or colleagues gather monthly to have dinner and pay a fee to one member in the group.  Every month a different person gets this money... for this group it was 3,000 yen per person.

If you enjoy tempura then Kikuya Tempura is a great place to start the evening... super friendly chef and the Filipino waiter spoke English! But 3 years to the day they are still in business!

View of the kitchen!  The poor female tempura chef has so many burns on her arms... I guess the hot oil splatters sometimes.

Overall its a great place to spend an hour and enjoy the many Tempura choices.
