Did a short staycation in the same building as Hitori Shabu Shabu Matsugoro and of course I couldn`t resist visiting for lunch! If in the Akasaka area you gotta check out The Best Western Hotel Fino Tokyo Akasaka ... brand new and incredibly priced due to Coronavirus.
Lunch Menu... but just have my eye on one item!
80 grams of sliced Wagyu Beef for only 980 yen! Limited to 30 a day.
You can either choose ponzu or sesame sauce with spicy oil.
Plus lunch includes Ramen Noodles!
Here it is! All this for only 980 yen!
Every slice of the wagyu beef was butterly tender... it was just sooo good.
My view of the large oval counter.
The sesame goma sauce was a bit sweet on this day compared to my previous dinner visit.
When you are ready for ramen just let the staff know. They will bring out a bowl with ramen seasoning inside and put 7-8 scoups of the shabu shabu water into the bowl.
Boil the noodles in the hotpot for 2-3 minutes then transfer to the bowl.
To close with ramen is wonderful.
Lots of seasoning dips ready for the rush crowd.
Meat is sliced to order... view of the large metal slicer.
Just fabulous lunch for only 980 yen. This is just a total must go!
