KICHIJOJI: Seikeimae Ramen... Now my absolute favorite Jiro-Style (Jiro-Kei) Ramen! WOW!! (SONY RX100)

Invite from my ramen Connoisseur friend to check out a Jiro style ramen located just a few steps from Seikei University.

Heard its recommended to drink a dark to before eating heavy ramen to help dissolve the fatty lard.

The staff will pop outside and ask everyone to buy their tickets before hand.
When the push button is picture-less and in Japanese always push the the top left corner button!
This was the 200 gram ramen with pork topping.

720 yen! A great price point.

View inside.  Counter seating for 9.

I was sitting directly in front of the chef and felt a bit awkward taking photo's with my Sony. So this is the only shot it took but you can view more photo's HERE.  BUT! This was absolutely delicious! It was like taking the best of every Ramen Jiro and all the Jiro Style ramens... the balance was on spot.  Noodles seemed to be made in house and perfectly chewy thick.  Char Shiu pork soooo melty tender!
I WILL BE BACK!!!

McLauren spotting near the Inogashira Zoo!  Oh if you are a tourist you can get in for 320 yen otherwise 400 yen.

If you like goats, sheep, guinea pigs, monkeys, ducks, squirrels and frogs this is your ZOO!

NAKANO: Miso Ga Ichiban (Miso is #1) Ramen. If you love Miso this seems to be the spot! (SONY RX100)

After sushi, then drinks at Juke 80 I needed some ramen content for my recently neglected foodie blog so I have Miso Ga Ichiban Ramen shop a try!  They had multi-lingual menu's outside.

Look at those rich looking ramen plates... lots of toppings.

I tend to order the store recommended dish thats always located at the top left corner and usually the lowest cost item.  This time it was the 800 yen button.

When most ramen shops outsource their noodles this place seems to make it in house.

Very nice interior! Ramen shops don't usually look like this.

Couldn't find any English menu's inside.

2 slices of meaty char siu pork.

Beautiful ramen bowl on a wooden platter!  Rarely ever this much detail in presentation.

Noodles were thin but very chewy... yum!

Another first!  A few slices of red peppers! Soup was very flavorful but not overbearing.  I tend to like a more rich muddy broth.

Yoshida Brothers on the BGM during my stay.

I'm not much of a miso fan but it was a gentle close to a evening in Nakano.  There was a party of 4 ladies sitting next to me and definitely a very female friendly shop.
