I'm eating Yakitori and decided to try a seafood spot in Azabu Juban.
Had a cramped corner counter seating... squeezed in like sardines! If possible try to get a table instead of the counter. Also you don't have the option to grill your seafood at the counter.
Pleasant surprise was the sashimi automatic otoshi.
If you spot this in your sashimi platter just take off the little flowers and put them into the shoyu.
Main kitchen area... looks like its been thru a battle. Very dated.
Draft beers 480 yen and bottles 680.
Everything good just seemed so overpriced. I love the tuna rolls that are usually around 300 yen at sushi restaurants but it was an astounding 1,680 yen! I don't need hon-maguro in my roll.
... this with freaky white greyish fish that had thick layers of skin. Not for me!
580 yen for seasoned egg... nothing was good.
Kurokirishima Imojochu 480 yen.
Overall the cost performance of this restaurant was just not worth going. I totally thought it was a branch of Isomaru Seafood but its just a poor version of it. If in Juban skip this place.
