On a super super chilly windy day I had to go visit my favorite steak and hambaguuu restaurant. The item above my thumb is the nikomi-hanbagu lunch set for 980yen.
If ever in Aoyama Ichome area you gotta eat this. Super flavorful and the hamburger is juicy.
Japanese lesson. How do Japanese people pronounce Hamburger and a burger without a bun?
Hamburger is hanbagaaaaa and the other is hanbaguuuu.
If in the area you have to check out the free entrance Itochu museum.

Steve, do you know what Cheap Trick's breakout single, recorded live at Budokan, and initially only available in Japan was titled?
ReplyDeleteIn North America, it was (as its lyrics indicate) "Surrender". But, since there is no translation for this word in Japanese, it was changed to something more identifiable as American, "Cheeseburger".
