SHAKUJIKOEN: Tetsuji BBQ! Only 1,500 yen for 70 minutes of all you can eat and drink! A fan since 2014!

After a nice walk at Shakujikoen Park we headed to one of my favorite franchises in all of Tokyo.  Tori no Tetsujin!  Usually goto the Ekoda branch but gave this place a try on this Sunday!

There are several Course Options but I totally suggest just going for the 1,500 yen plan with food circled in the red line (middle of menu).  Lots of items on the budget course.

The interior is very spacious and family friendly.

First selection of meats arrives automatically.. a bit of chicken and pork.

Help yourself soup and white rice corner.

Point to this one!  Chicken with garlic sauce.

You can change your grill top (ami in Japanese) once.

My friend always orders this chicken neck part!  Its a bit too crunchy for me.

They were quite nice as not to kick us out at 70 minutes but politely suggested its time to go a few times as we finished up our drinks.  If you ever spot this restaurant you gotta go!!

YUTENJI: Flashback 8 years ago as we approach Cherry Blossom Season.... Sumire Yakitori super reasonable friendly spot thats still around.

EBISU: Monster Grill for 200 yen draft beers! Then gave the Hamburger Steak a try. Ho hum...

Cheep beer prices always catch my eye... 200 yen drafts!  But there is another restaurant called Hakata somthing that serves 199 yen beers and 46yen Yakitori sticks!... I'm going there next time for sure.

I went for the least expensive item on the menu.  Hamburger steak 890 yen without the rice and soup combo thats priced at 1,350 yen.  Now I realize budget steak places like these charge quite a bit just for rice.

Highlight of the evening.  200 yen draft beer!  Great size.

I am garlic!  But it kinda all dumped out on my plate... oh well I'm a fan.

This was rather a flat burger... not very juicy.  Hmmm... 

Overall the hamburger steak was simply just OK.   Maybe their steak selections are better.

OH!  In Japan the 29th is meat day because 2 reads NI and 9 reads KU thus NIKU (Word for Meat).  The 29th of each month the rib rose steak is half price!

On the way here my first ever spotting of a Mercedes Maybach S600 Pullman Limousine... posh.
