SHIBUYA: Tattan Ramen for a bit of Taiwanese style Maze-Soba... with real soba rather than ramen noodles.

Late night in Shibuya and thought I'd give Tattan's Taiwanese 800yen Maze-Soba a try.

Mix mix! It was ok but didn't compare the wonderful world of Hagan in Sakuradai.

NERIMA: Napoli Pizzeria mediocre at best with a wonderful view of Yakuza's, Crows and interesting bar men dressed as women.

Who isn't a fan of pizza... so we finally checked out Napoli Pizzeria.

1st floor had 3 small tables and a small counter seating area.

Unfortunately we were surrounded by folks who enjoyed their cigars.

A view outside was the perfect view of Yakuza's in black suits frequently pulling up in shiny black cars.  Nerima has a high concentration of hostess bars and I assume they own most of them. As for the Crows they are men dressed in black overcoats luring in customers... And one more interesting sight a few men dressed as women who stepped out of their bar.   Lots of interesting things thru the windows of Napoli.

Overall the service was slow and food mediocre at best.  I'm sure I'll be back as one of my friends seemed to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and cheap wine. Oh the manager mentioned most of the Napoli's were franchises so they do things a little different by location.

NARITA AIRPORT TERMINAL 1: Kyotaru Sushi... the absolute worst sushi I've ever had in Tokyo! Mushy Mushy RUN!!!!

Was leaving to visit my dad in Florida and was lured into Kyotaru sushi by their super delicious looking plastic sushi models.

Every piece of this sushi was so incredibly mushy...  I honestly believe it wasn't fresh at all.  Below supermarket grade yet charging much more.  I wanted to give up after a few pieces... but eventually leave that white looking piece of sushi.  Was just aweful!

The only thing worth eating on this entire platter was the tuna rolls.

And so I'm off to Florida with my new little Sony AS100V.
