SHIBUYA: TGIFridays for 4-7pm Happy Hour... not as friendly and comfy as other spots.

I stopped by TGIF Shibuya a few months a go and it was closed for renovations so decided to check out the atmosphere this day.

Ordered my favorite Spicy Buffalo Bites... have to say TGIF Roppongi has juicier bites but due to the lack of tabasco tinted spicy sauce covering the chicken kept super crispy.

Even bottled beer is 50% off.

FYI: There is a 10% service charge tacked onto the bill.

I'd have to say the bar area is just too big... there is no friendly mingling that usually occurs at other locations.

If you want to hit up Happy Hour at TGIF I'd probably have to suggest Harajuku for its coziness/awesome bartender flare show, Ueno for its friendliness or Roppongi for its liveliness.

UENO: TGIFridays... 50% off Happy Hour 4-7pm after the Zoo! 7:30pm Bar-tending Show :)

After a long day of checking out the new Panda's at Ueno Zoo we were in search of Happy Hour... But could there possibly be a TGIF in Ueno?

YES!!

Bar counter was slightly larger than Roppongi or Harajuku.

Whats great about this spot was all the sofa seating... even around the bar area.  Way more relaxing than Roppongi TGIF.

50% off the entire drink menu from 4-7pm.

We arrived at an early 5pm and were joined by only a few others at the bar plus some foreign families sitting for dinner in booths....

But as 7pm approached the bar on a Tuesday night began to fill-up... AND at exactly 7:30pm the Bartender Show began!

Don't think these guys would place in any bar-tending championship but they gave a great show.

Finally 5 free drinks for customers and a b-day song plus sundae for one lucky lady.  If its your b-day don't forget to show them this Gnavi COUPON for a free Sundae Present!

If you just want something light or on the cheap just order the Friday's Fries 250yen!  

Service is great at most Friday's but this shop went the extra mile.  The Bartenders were very attentive and overly polite.  Would highly suggest taking friends or family to this spot... much more quiet than TGIF Roppongi and layout seemed a bit more spacious and relaxing than TGIF Harajuku.

HARAJUKU: TGI-Friday's stop for Happy Hour (4-7pm) 50% off ALL drinks!

Just a very random entry for those in search of great Happy Hours around Tokyo.  

There is no other place in Tokyo that offers a solid variety of drinks like TGIFridays.  But best yet EVERYTHING on their menu is 50% off during Happy Hour 4-7pm.

Chocolate Monkey shake... yup 50% off.

Strawberry Mojito and Lichi Tea... 50% off.  All bottle beers, cocktails, draft beers, mixed drinks, non-alcoholic shakes for the kids... its all inclusive in the happy hour.  This is the newest Fridays in Tokyo so its immaculate.  The bar counter here isn't that long so if you are more the mingling with locals and expats type then I'd suggest TGIF in Roppongi with Happy hour from 4-8pm Mon-Thurs and 4-7pm on Fridays.

Don't forget to wait or the Amazing most excellent Bartender show that begins around 7:30pm... they will start when Happy Hour ends and things start to slow down.  You might score a free tasty drink!

Friday's RED in Shibuya... young crowd (university students are main), young music.

Vegetable Crudite with Bonyacalda or Blue Cheese Dip: 580yen.

Its so hard to find any fancy rolls in Tokyo~.  Had to order this.

But if you want some great rolls hit up Rainbow Sushi Roll in Azabu Juban.

Need a place to hang out before meeting up with friends or a great pre-drink spot before heading out? Can't beat FRIDAY's 50% off drinks from 5-7pm.  The best value is probably the Large 600yen Draft Beer (about pint+ size) that will cost ya only 300yen... other than that there are great Alcoholic/Non-alcoholic shakes (the Oreo Ice Cream shake looked great). The hostess was bilingual and menu in English so easy easy. No worries if you are alone, there were quite a few foreigners there enjoying a drink at the bar counter.
