Friday nights in Tokyo are soooo busy and or 1st yakitori choice Tamariba had zero open seats so tried out this rather quiet spot 2 doors down.
Long counter seating with tables for 2 along the wall.
Chef's Yakitori grill and I got the perfect seat in front of this goldfish.
Today's automatic appetizer Otoshi was some green sprouts that looked like clovers.
Rather reasonable yakitori menu with most at 150yen each.
We went for the 7 recommended sticks for 1,000 yen.
This is 1,2,3.
And 4,5,6. Lots of different textures here so if you don't want to explore then you can stick with the basics on the menu.
Umeboshi Sour drink...
Closed with Yakisoba that looked more like stir fry bean spouts with somen noodles.
The BGM was playing 80's Japanese hits and also foreign hits like U2. Overall if you want a nice quiet, not yakitori smokey spot then this might be a great spot for a date.
