OKINAWA NAHA: Gyoza No Mise (Gyoza Shop) Hana for their 1,000 yen senbelo tipsy plan with 5 gyoza dumplings! (iPhone 12 Mini)

 

I started this thing to go into 1 restaurant then ask the staff where they would recommend I go next... and the friendly Nepalese guys at one of my favorite spots suggested Gyoza Shop Hana.

My 1,000 yen plan!

A plan is 5 gyoza and 2 drinks

B plan is Pork Bun with 2 drinks

C Plan Raw Horse Sashimi with 2 drinks.

On the regular menu drinks are 330 yen and 440 yen.

I went for plan A! 

Gyozas were kinda round and as soon as I bit into it the juices squirted out all over my pants! FYI just eat the entire thing.  Tasty and the place was fully packed with mostly ladies.

Overall the Chinese staff was very friendly and let me sit at a small table even thought I was a solo diner.  There are a few counter seats.  Nice and dark... perhaps a great spot for a date.

NAHA: Little Beer stand serving Witch's Mahobrew Craft Beer... friendly bartender and local Okinawan ladies. Lots of seating too! (iPhone 12 mini)

Naha has so many little cozy spots to drink and had a quick beer at this little make shift bar on the corner of a larger beer garden space. 

3 local Okinawan ladies rizzing up the bartender from mainland Japan.

Just enough space for 3-4 people.

NAKAMURABASHI: Very very rare high calorie Matsuya Beef Bowl visit! But got the Korean Chige Soup combo. (Sony RX100)

 

This must be my first visit to a beef bowl shop in the last 15 years... These tiny bowls have an incredible amount of calories and some beef bowls exceed 2,000 calories!

But I didnt eat much this night and there were very few options after Midnight.

Took about 10 minutes for my meal to arrive.  

They actually ran out of beef after my order arrived.   Staff was refunding multiple people.

There it is! Much less guilt with a side of korean tofu chige soup.

Kimchee Beef Bowl 764 kcal and small Mini Chige 306 kcal

Meat is very thin and easy to chew.  I mean its just too thin to have that meat texture.

Overall its a nice option to close out the night but are you willing to sleep on over 1,000 calories because you had that super late night craving... remember its best not to eat after 10pm!  But beef bowls start from 400 yen and very wallet friendly.

NAHA OKINAWA: Malta Suisan for some sushi rolls from a very friendly funny grandma... just had to buy from her. (Panasonic TZ60)

Brand new Maguro Fish market behind the original and larger Tormarin Fish Market in Okinawa.

There is a roof top deck with tables.

But my sole purpose to walk here was to try the very rare Hawaiian Poke in Okinawa.

One of my favorite Okinawa Foodie Youtubers introduced this new Poke spot but when I got there its only available on Saturdays from 11am.  UGH!

This grandma was so funny... I asked her about the sushi rolls and she said they were probably very good but never tried them.  Then said a pretty girl probably made the rolls.... but she did mention they were outsourced.  I decided to not have it but she was so sweet I had to go back and buy them!

Sushi Rolls!  Smelled kinda like Iron... you know that strange smell that I rarely encounter in Japan.

Tasted a bit like metal... honestly just ate the fish with shoyu and wasabi.  Totally left the rice alone.

Anyways if you like Hawaiian Poke remember its only available on Saturdays from 11am!  I will take my revenge again on my next visit to Okinawa.
