Out with 2 heavy drinkers and 2 Japanese guys that just graduated University... the only way to go is all you can plus all you can drink! Got lucky on the timing and Groupon to the rescue!
Our course included 2 hours of all you can eat and 3 of all you can drink. The menu items were VERY generous... all kinds of items.
This was the scene at 6:30pm... by 8pm it would be a full house.
Everyone gets a very sturdy paper cup that unusually didn't get soggy.
Lots of beer options! All self serve.
The initial tray of BBQ meats comes out automatically. Then you can reorder your favorites or other items like chicken on the menu.
Think this was pork ear.
Lamb, Kalbi... Veggies.
My Favorite! Premium Malts Ale... a light creamy beer.
Self serve sake hard alcohol area.
I've never seen kegs this small... looked like gas canisters.
Friendly staff taking our photo.
Overall for 3,000 yen this Groupon course was amazing... One of the college guys had 10 beers and at any regular izakaya that alone would be around 5,000 yen. But even without Groupon the all you can eat and drink courses start at 3,000 yen:
