Cona just renovated and the new interior is kinda modern and cool. Always great when you see mostly ladies in a restaurant... good indicator of how yum it is.
Our instant Otoshi appetizer... sweet potato paste and 2 crackers.
Lots of wine options for only 2,000 yen.
I noticed that there were pre-made pizza crust hidden beneath a white cloth... I thought they tried to cut costs and no longer used fresh pizza dough. First one is my all time favorite... half boiled egg and ham.
Dont forget to add the spicy olive oil.
Yup chef still preparing the premade pizza dough...
A group of about 10 people must have ordered some kind of course menu.
Then I spot the chef bring out a container of fresh round pizza dough. I asked why the 2 different ones... he said that the pre-made stuff is for customers ordering the all you can eat pizza course menu.
Our second Mexican pizza was so super chewy verses the pre-made that was a crispy.
Overall this is a great spot with counter seating all round so you get a view of the chef from almost every angle. If in need of cheap pizza and drinks this is a great place to start off at. Oh, it was formerly called VOCO.
