Team dinner after 3 days at a trade show... a quick walk to TFT building from Tokyo Big Sight.
Fish heads on display!
Start with a little maguro and salmon sashimi...
I think this tender charsiu that normally sits on a bed of ramen was the best item this night.
Now for the funky blubber fish... it just had not normal fish texture.
It was just sooooo blubbery... I ate with 5 Japanese colleagues and nobody attempted to finish all 3 plates of this fish. Very strange....
A bowl of fried chicken, french fries, American dog (corn dog) and some fried gyoza.
This is more like pub junk food... not Japanese Izakaya food.
The mini American Dog
Closed with a little milk tea ice cream.
This is called 一本締め "Ippon-jime" (one clap) to close the evening.
Overall the food was blah but the nomihoudai (all you can drink course) included big bottled beers that was definitely a plus! Oh and for some reason the floors were SO extremely sticky that if you are not careful your shoe will slip off due to the stickiness.
