Finally tried the famous Nanten Standing Udon that sells 2,000 bowls on udon and soba a day!
Went with the Niku (meat) topping udon! The beef wasnt made to order but pre-made and just placed on top... a bit cold and not too tender.
Seating along the exit of Shiinamachi exit. You will see alot of people with bowls of noodles here.
Hit the spot but next time I will get the basic 300 yen udon. Definitely dont need the meat topping.
One chef taking care of so many customers thru the day. Much respect!
