Finally! I never goto Azabu Juban to eat ramen but had to work in the office on a Sat and headed over for a late late lunch.
All picture menu but nothing on the machine is in English.
Lunch special offer! Bowl of rice with topping for 100 yen.
Just click here it says "Lunch Gentei Gohan" (Lunch Limited Rice).
The table menu is in English so grab this before you select some items from the machine... someone is always lingering around there to help customers.
Here we go! Noodles had a nice chewy texture but the impact was the very muddy chicken broth. It almost tasted like a very thick Cambells chicken soup.
My 100yen mentaiko topping rice.
Combo for 880yen! I always hit up the most basic ramen 780yen on my first visit to any ramen spot.
Looooong counter seating with tables near the entrance.
The guy gently cuts and weighs each piece of chicken to around 19 grams.
Overall this place will definitely hit the spot after a night out and its quite similar to the muddy broth of Tenkaippin.
