There are 3 different lunch options on the main menu... the main difference is in the number of extra shrimp or fish. There is also a oyster tempura lunch set too with 4 big oysters.
The 1 tempura oyster that came with my B lunch.
On the wall behind the son is a full list of the selections in English. This chef just loves all kinds of foreign cultures and history... I asked him about the English behind him and away he went... kept talking to my co-worker about the origin of tempura, vikings eating meat, fish and chips... so much.
I got 2 pieces of shrimp. The chef will place the piece one by one as you finish.
Every lunch set comes with this.
Meet the mother! She must be pushing 90 but just so cute... she brought out all the food to us and takes care of the register too! If you want to enjoy a little bit of old skool Japan served by a tiny old lady this is a must.
