GINZA: USHIYA GINBEI for a cozy Yakiniku BBQ dinner plus Liberty Walk Aventador! (Sony RX100)

Friends visiting from Indonesia and soooo few restaurants were open on January 2nd... but luckily we found Ginza Ushiya Ginbei.  If you want to work here full time salary is 300,000 jpy / month.

There is counter and booth seatings.

Wagyu 790 yen per slice. 

Just roll and add wasabi. It was incredibly fatty... the plate had a tiny puddle of oil. Extremely tender but all agreed 1 piece was enough.

No seafood but they do have 1 chicken item on the menu.

Kalbi and Rosu.

The Kalbi was thick and tender but very fatty... I think if you like less fatty oil in your meat maybe Jotaien in Daimon would be a better choice.

Bibimbap

Overall the restaurant is a bit dark and somewhat small.  But the push button service was spot on quick and staff friendly.  It came to 27,000 yen for 4 adults and 2 kids ordering Alacarte. 

And of course in the most posh Ginza neighborhood you will spot many exotics.  Liberty Walk Lamborghini Aventador!

OIMACHI: ZENIBA Yakiniku... fabulouuuusssss A5 ranked meats! Waitress "Mariko-chan" was super attentive and pretty too :)

Its a wonderful sight when you see blocks of beef in a showcase... yum.

To close out 3 days at the Tokyo Gift Show tradeshow we headed out for a team yakiniku dinner!  

The interior was interesting... playing club music in an atmosphere that was half bar and half restaurant but more of a blend of both.  It was a full house all night long... reservations for sure!

Super tasty tender roast beef.

First time ever to see this... they use volcanic rock to grill the meats.

Here are the meats!! Each one different, each one with its own tender texture... every single bite was amazing.  Head a rush of "oishiiiii" from all my co-workers.

Mariko cooked every one of the meats for us... the service here was fabulous.

If you can get over the bar feel and the club music this restaurant is just wonderful.  The A5 ranked beefs were to die for and service just spectacular.  If you are ever in the Shinagawa/Oimachi area then you MUST hit up Zeniba Yakiniku.
