OIZUMIGAKUEN: Doma Doma Izakaya... 20th anniversary 50% off selected food and drink 5/20-6/22! Honestly a bit... ho-hum. (Sony RX100M2)

 

Selected food items 50% off to celebrate Doma Doma franchise Izakaya`s 20th anniversary! Was soooo ready to order multiple dishes of just Kalbi Yakiniku hot plate!  Unfortunately this couldn`t be mixed with the 1,200 yen all you can drink nomihoudai plan.

Beer, Hi-balls, Sours and a few cocktails were included in the 50% off campaign.

Super icy cold beer was cold enough to get icy. 

420 yen --> 210 yen. 

Cesar salad topped with cheese.

French fries with butter sour cream topping.

The kalbi just didn`t look as appealing as the photo... instead of large chunks it was a bunch of little square pieces... rather tough to chew.

If you need any condiments just point to this menu on the wall. 

The beers were soooo cold here.

Ham... rarely do they ever serve prosciutto at franchise izakayas. 

Both semi private booths and wide dining areas for groups. 

Hmmm.... Overall that 20th anniversary special menu was weak.  Will definitely suggest going for the 2 hour 1,200 yen all you can drink menu thats vast and also includes medium sized Asahi bottled beers.

Doma Doma always has the best all you can drink plans.  60 minutes for only 600 yen! 

You will just have to order a minimum of 2 dishes over 300 yen.

Here we go Nomihoudai! Draft beer... but later I noticed medium Bottled Beer is also included!

All you can drink menu... if you add this branch to your LINE friends the price drops from 1,500 to 1,200 yen. Not too bad.

Next up Whisky Hi-Balls... perfect if you are on a diet. 

Shrimp ahijo... very garlicky. Tasty! 

Ei-hi-leh Manaray with mayo... perfect beer food.

And here comes my1st Asahi Bottle Beer! Rare to see this on a standard Nomihoudai plan. 

Remember... we had to order 2 dishes each over 300 yen.  One of the cheaper choices.

We were located on the 3rd floor so phone reception was good.  But they have Wi-Fi.

Draft beers are about 500 yen so definitely go for the nomihoudai plan. 

Overall Doma Doma is definitely one Izakaya you have to put on your list.  The food is unusually good and the semi-private booths are cozy.  Go Go! Oh this spot is on the same block as The Hub Pub.

Friend rocking Balenciaga shoes... I`m a $50 Puma kinda guy so I could buy like 20 shoes for the price of his sneakers.  Someone is making bank. 

If you miss the last train 5 hours of all you can drink only 1,500 yen!
