I really enjoy visiting Mikasa Shokudo because all the chefs and waitresses are very active elderly ladies. Gotta support Okinawa grannies.
Counter seating for 4 and there are many tables for 2-4 people.
I really should have ordered some vegetables but the Tofu caught my eye.
Free self serve water and green tea.
About 15-20 minutes later my food arrives! It was a full house when I was entered and also when I left. Super popular even on a late Sunday afternoon. Comes with rice and a side of red miso soup.
Lots of giant chunks of sliced garlic! It was a bit overwhelming... thinly cut beef a bit tough but I mostly enjoyed the Tofu!

They also have standard Okinawa classics like Goya Champuru and Fuu Champuru. Its a very cozy local restaurant thats been around forever... give it a try!
