EKODA: COBRA Coffee and Beer bar! No table charge, reasonably priced drinks and a super cozy counter area with Reggae on the BGM! (Sony RX100)

Since Japan lifted its Covid Lockdown as of November all restaurants and bars can operate at their normal hours... so I have started exploring again!  This night popped into a very dim cozy COBRA Bar in Ekoda.

Bar run by 2 brothers... Ma-san was here this night but a super friendly guy.

There were a few regulars here... Ekoda has so many restaurants and bars that most of locals just stay in this area.

EKODA: Mori-No-Teishoku-Ya! Super reasonable Japanese foodie set plans! Pork Spare Ribs 800 yen!! (Sony RX100)

So many teishoku (plate lunch) choices at super reasonable prices!

Pork spare ribs is all me! Only 800 yen with soup and miso soup. 

Interior was so nice.  Could almost pass as a wine bar. 

Super generous portions of ribs!  A bit on the tough side but tasty. 

If you need a reasonable place to dine with your family or solo definitely try this spot!  There is only 1 chef working in the entire restaurant so its a bit of a self serve kinda place.

OKINAWA NANJO: Que Lico Tacos for a friendly crispy taco and superb chili beans! Trendy female chef!!

When a friend asks me what I want to eat in Okinawa my answer is soooo simple... super local Okinawa Soba and their favorite Tacos or Taco Rice. BUT unfortunately a super hidden spot in the deep mountains in this area was randomly closed! Perhaps due to covid. Ugh..

But on the way we passed by Que Lico and the structure looked very nice... great job on standing out!

The female owner / chef did the entire interior design her self... this was formerly an Okinawan soba restaurant. 

Cant beat soft shell tacos.

Chili beans was great... many types of beans.

Its near the Okinawa prison so if you are getting out of jail why not stop by! Its super cozy.
