GAIENMAE: Wendys! Scored a great Groupon Deal. 940 yen burger set for only 500 yen. (SONY RX100)

There is a Wendys just a few steps away from my office but never ventured in... the price point is higher than McDs and well I would rather goto a proper burger joint. BUT!  Scored a great Groupon deal and shoulda have bought more.

This is a super clean comfy Wendy's located just a few seconds from Gaienmae subway exit.

SEKIMAE: Shinasoba Aoba Ramen... no train station in sight but busy busy. (SONY RX100)

I walked past Aoba on my way to Uzura Ramen and the chef looked really mean... But on this Monday I caught a ride with my friend to give it a try.

Ramen prices from 800 yen... a tad higher than most.

The noodles were thin but very chewy... Its a very simple shoyu ramen with a tiny layer of oil on top.

Don't mind the chef if he ignores you or doesn't say thanks... no smiles to this very traditional elder Japanese guy.

SHIMBASHI: Tsukuyomi Bar... in a very old building a very old skool row of mini restaurants.

There is a building kinda connected to JR Shimashi station and really near Shiodome that is home to a long row of tiny restaurants and bars.   But alot of the shops seemed to have been updated with the original owners perhaps passing away...

Randomly popped in Tsukuyomi... hmm... an older crowd so not too much mixing with the customers.

Some IPA and a dish of meat with olives.

If in the area why not stroll thru... there is a ramen spot, sushi, Japanese restaurants here.
