MCDONALD`S JAPAN: BIG Smile Big Mac set discounted from 690 yen to 550yen! Two stacked 1 dollar burgers = big mac? (Sony α57)

I`m a huge fan of Filet O Fish and can`t really justify paying over 500 yen for a McDonalds burger so I tend to stick to the dollar burger and chicken crisp sandwich menu... PLUS the occasional Spicy Chicken burger that has an addictive sweet and sour siracha style sauce for 200 yen. 

BUT I noticed the Big Mac set called BIG SMILE was discounted from 690 yen to only 550 yen!  I only eat Big Macs once every few years and had to dive in!

Big Mac boxes had a secret coupon... scored a 50 yen off Teriyaki Burger coupon. 

Here is a Japanese Big Mac!  Lots of lettuce. 

I`m a tabasco ketchup kinda guy... you gotta try!

Was so disappointed that the meat patties were so thin.... exactly what comes with the 100 yen (Dollar) hamburger.  I can`t believe people actually order this in burger heaven Tokyo. Special sauce was just so underwhelming and bland. 

When in Japan its probably best to check out Mos Burger that has thicker burger patties and more interesting toppings.  See you in another 5 years BigMac!  Gonna stick to the dollar burger menu and filet o fish!

My fav! Filet O Fish! But at 370 yen I don`t usually order this when at a lower price I can get a fulfilling Japanese Bento at Hotto Motto or Origin.

AZABU JUBAN: McDonalds... breakfast filet o'fish and hashbrowns... FREE Wi-Fi!!!

This might be the very first time I ventured into Azabu Juban during the weeeee hours of breakfast.

About 500yen for my filet o'fish set...

IKEBUKURO: McDonalds to try their mashed potato bacon cheese burger! Not too shabby....

I stopped going to McDonalds on a regular basis when the chicken nugget scandal broke and it took a week for the new McD's Japan president Sarah Casanova to issue a statement... 

BUT I'm a huge fan of mashed potatoes and had to give their new burger a try!

New Zealand beef... Hokkaido mashed potatoes and cheese.... not toobad.

TOYOTAMA: McD's special Honey Lemon shake... the rare drive-thru spotting in Tokyo!

Drive-Thru station... looks more compact that the US.

Japan McD's needs more items on their menu.... we haven't had the McRib in years!

ROPPONGI HILLS: McDonalds... Its like the Ritz Carlton in here... well kinda.

I don't normally blog fast food burger spots but this has got to be one of the most posh, spacious and comfy McD's ever... great place just to chill.

Spotted it.  BBQ Beef and Chicken specials for a limited time.

There's a McCafe similar to Starbucks on 1F

There it is!  Bacon, Cheese, Onions, Beef Patty, Huge Boiled Flat Egg and BBQ Sauce!

I'm rather picky when it comes to burgers but the BBQ sauce was rather good and the combination with the boiled egg... well I unusually enjoyed the McD's burger.

The RHills Crosspoint McD's is a great spot to kill a little time or meet up with friends.. no time limits and you can even go for the 100yen menu to relax in this great atmosphere.  Oh, the entrance is outside behind ZARA.  

Revisited on May 12th... Its extremely rare that I'm in Roppongi all night but seems there is maintenance during 4-5am. The 5th Anniversary event at Rigoletto kept me out... very long night.
