IKEBUKURO: EFE Kebab has 350yen chicken kebabs in central Ikebukuro! Better value than McDs. GO GO! (Panasonic TZ60)

Heard about it... a 350 yen Kebab shop directly in front of Ikebukuro Station and just steps away from Donki!  WOW! Rents must be incredibly high here.

Wow I wonder what the margins are?  I guessing they might make 100 yen per kebab?

These cheaper kebabs are often dry but lots of volume and the sauce makes it very flavorful.  If you want something cheap in Ikebukuro you must go! Only 350 yen... its a no brainer.

NOGATA: Newly opened Kebab Sando! In times of after covid and high Inflation the Chicken Kebab was only 350 yen! (Sony RX100, iPhone X)

What! 350 yen for a Kebab after all this Covid Inflation! Im in! 

This was formerly friendly Doy Doy Kebab with 500-600 yen price points. 

Super friendly chef.  But the heat coming out of this small shop was overwhelming... staff must have been so hot.  

A bit dry but for the price its great... the sauce makes it very flavorful.

McDonalds or Kebab or Beef Bowl?  I say Kebab Sando.

AKASAKA MITSUKE: Aria Kebab Bar... oh my goodness their kebabs are on a diet. (Sony RX100)

I'm totally a kebab guy and love supporting these small businesses that normally have a small counter seating area but mostly survive on take-away.  Checked my favorite foodie site and went to explore Aria!

Menu is on the counter... 540 yen for the basic Kebab sandwich.  

Hung outside a little... noticed the Chef talking to a pretty young girl inside.  Chatting away... more chatting and well I had to peek into the counter seating area to get his attention.  

Think the kebab was chicken.  He sliced away and put some pre-sliced cabbage that was sitting in the heat... probably best to keep it refrigerated.

And here it is in all its grandeur!  It was the skinniest Kebab I have ever seen... I would compare it to the dollar menu burger that should have looked like a Big Mac.

It was such a little bitty Kebab... Very little meat, very little sauce that wasn't even enough to reach the bottom of the pita bread, little bit of shredded cabbage... Just wanted to cry.  If you want to have a delicious volumeful Kebab just head on over to Roppongi and visit super friendly Kebab Bar.

ROPPONGI: Asian Kebab... delicious reasonable Kebab Bowl! Friendly chef too... gotta go!

I was here 8 years ago when it was called Kebab Bar but lately I've been going to ramen, burger and gyoza spots in Roppongi... but got a craving. 

Great English menu.

Tried the kebab don... wow this thing was super tasty!  While I was eating at the counter several people got take-out.  Seems popular!

Opening up an 8th store... nice.

Could't finish my meal and he simply placed a lid on the bowl and I was off.  If in Roppongi on a budget you really can't go wrong here.  Give it a try!!

NISHI AZABU: 86 Luca's Kitchen for a rather dry 500 yen kebab... ho hum.

Always noticed a kebab spot located next to Joe's Bar in Nishi Azabu and thought I'd give it a try.

Unfortunately the kebab is pre-cut and stored in this big metal pot.  Perhaps thats why it wasn't juicy at all... a bit on the dry side.

If you are hungry for a kebab I'd suggest hitting up Kebab Bar in Roppongi.
