GAIENMAE: Shake Shake burgers for the last day at Itochu Corporation before the Near Year Holidays! meh!

Got approval to order some Shake Shack burgers for our after 5pm beers and appetizers before the New Year holidays!  If you order take out of more than 10,000yen then there is no need to line up forever!!  

Shake Shack burger 680 and Smoke Shack 880 (with bacon)

20 burgers, 5 hotdogs and 5 fries with cheese... about 22,000 JPY.  About a 5 minute walk back to Itochu Corporation Headquarters.

Shake Shack Burger! 680yen! The bun was that super soft like a grocery store burger bim or hotdog bun... the meat very soft... everything was very soft!  You don't need teeth.

Smoke Shack Burger! Slice of baked bacon and a spicy red hot sauce. 880yen

Fried with cheese.. the cheese seemed like that fake stuff you get at the theaters in the US.  It was more of a paste and not cheesy.

Lots of Asahi and Meister beers in the conference room.

Overall it was great to finally try Shake Shack but Tokyo has so many amazing burgers that it would be hard to justify ordering a 880yen burger, fries and drink for well over 1,000yen.

GAIENMAE OMOTESANDO: Chai-Kuro Izakaya for very reasonable Kushi sticks... friendly staff.

Automatic appetizer is cabbage!

96yen seasoned chicken wings... very good!

Waiter in the middle and my co-worker who is camera shy.

This place can get incredibly loud but its an easy place to have some beers, kushiage sticks and basic izakaya foods.

Unfortunately its was a bit early so we were the only ones here and the thin bartender was not so chat friendly.

This spicy tantanmen noodles was soooooooo crazy hot... phew.

If you are craving some reasonable Peking duck and super cheap dumplings (3 for 150yen... was 105yen previously) then Cafe 8 is a must!
