NAKANO: Kaisen Misaki-ko conveyor belt sushi for their limited 3 piece deal! 190 yen! (Sony RX100)

I always pass by this sushi shop on my way to my favorite spot in Nakano mall. 

This night this caught my eye!  3 pieces of sushi for only 190 yen!  I had to try.

Asked the chef if there were any other additional charges and he said no.  Often if you order alcohol they will automatically serve a small 400-500 yen appetizer thats added to your bill... unfortunately its unavoidable if you order alchohol. 

This is it! Boiled shrimp, salmon and tuna combo 190 yen.  Not a fan of salmon but the pieces were  very chunky.

The most basic tuna is always the standard to judge a sushi spot.

But often what arrives is never as pictured.  It was more of a light pink rather than the standard red color. Was a bit too mushy for me and I guess the lowly foodie score says it all.

Paypal cashback was very limited... I've only been going to this franchse spot fo lunch. But I might have to goto Baskin Robbins too. Oh maximum cash back is 1,500 yen thru February end. 

Super reasonable... no English menu's but everything is pictured! Huge plastic food display outside.

Lots of gyoza ramen sets.

Very few tables so its mostly counter seating.

NO SMOKING Sweet!! Beers only 264 yen and 6 piece gyoza 210 yen.

Many beer food items only 100 yen. 3 Piece Gyoza 110 yen.

This is me! My absolute Favorite. 700 yen lunch set called Bakudan Itame (Dynamite Mix)

I get Korean cravings but there are so few Korean restaurants in local towns... lots of Chinese but very few Korean spots.  Soooo!  This is where I get my Pork Kimchee Mix... super flavorful!

Soup is a bit on the salty side... it may be their ramen broth.

I never did understand this pickled veggie.  Chinese style?

700 yen if you use Paypay and since I'm a Softbank Mobile user its 50% cashback. (Softbank owns Paypay). BUT Overall you can't go wrong here... cheap and good.  If in Japan try out one of their franchise locations!!   

This day I brought out my new used Panasoic Lumix LX3.... it sure is slow to focus.

NAKANO STATION: Butayama (Pig Mountain) Ramen! Asked the crows for a ramen recommendation for Jiro'style. (Canon G9x)

Of course my first top at Nakano is my favorite standing sushi just around the corner... but as a tradional closing task in Japan you must finish with ramen.

I tend to chat up the crows (guys standing around trying to guide you into hostess bars usually wearing all black overcoats) and this night Butayama was recommended.

Quite the full house at 10:35pm. Unusual to see elderly ladies dining this heavy thick Jiro style ramen.

Of course when you are lost push the top left corner button. 780 yen Small Ramen, 250 grams of noodles and 2 slices of tender pork.  I tend to struggle past 200 grams. For 730 yen you can try the 150 grams.

Chef will ask you about free topping volume. Garlic, boiled veggies, pork lard and flavor level.

Seeing more female chefs lately... nice.

Look at that tenderness!  The fatty pork lard was sooo flavorful.

Pork incredibly melty tender... Yum!!

Noodles were almost like Okinawan soba style... not too thin and not too thick.  Perfectly boiled and a great chewiness. 

Free water on tap. 

Tried!  But I'm so not a 250 gram noodle person... max out at 200 grams.

If in Nakano you gotta try!  I will definitely be back. 

Spotted this young couple seemingly super drunk on this very cold Tokyo night.  

Glad Tokyo is a very safe place... if you do anything wrong the popo will definitely find you.
