OMOTESANDO: Pizza Slice 2! Its been over 2 years still great but slices are smaller... plus bagged Heineken. (Sony RX100, Fimi Palm)

When you don`t want to devour an entire pizza the only place to go is Pizza Slice in the back alleys of Omotesando... Was staycationing nearby and had to visit on a Sunday night. 

Didn`t realize they closed at 9pm on a Sunday so at 8:45pm their was only 1 slice of cheese and a few slices of peperoni pizza.  Stuck with the standard 390 yen cheese. 

Heineken in a paper bag... just like drinking outside the liquor shop in the US or at the beach in Waikiki.  Public drinking isn`t allowed. 

Always impressed how spacious this pizzeria is. 

Takes about 5 minutes to reheat the pizza in the oven

Still super cheesy and delicious as ever but the slices seem so much smaller than my previous visit.

Great upbeat music on the BGM... 

If you are into sneakers there is a huge selection on the upper floor. 

Overall the pizza is fantastic and tonights young staff friendly.  Its usually hard to stop at just one slice.  Give it a try!

AKASAKA: Napolis Pizzeria with 500 yen cheese pizza`s and rather an expensive drink menu! (Sony RX100)

In order to help the restaurant industry the Japanese government has started a GOTO Eat Campaign on October 1st that gives you 500 yen (lunch) or 1000 yen (dinner) per person in points that you can use another time.  There are still very few restaurants signed up for this but found Napolis to be one of them.

If I noticed this sign before entering I would have gone to another place to eat... Smoking is allowed here.  An sure enough the group behind me was puffing away.  Not sure how they get away with it as smoking in all restaurants has been banned this year due to the Tokyo Olympics.

I usually go simple as prices start to rocket as you add more toppings 

A small glass of premium malts is a whopping 600 yen... All the drinks were at least 1.5 to 2x more than normal izakaya`s.  Definitely don`t go here if you are a drinker!

Dayum... 790 yen for this tiny bottle of Heineken.  Maybe if this was a club or a bar in Roppongi I could understand but its just a pizza joint.  

My pizza!  Little cheese a little sauce... nothing impressive but the 500 yen price point was nice.

This place was packed!  Definitely no coronavirus social distancing.  If you want inexpensive pizza in a nicer atmosphere definitely hit up Pizzania!  I won`t be back here... Oh an it gets so steamy hot with the oven...  the ventilation was bad PLUS Smoking is some how allowed here.

ROPPONGI ICHOME: Pizzania for great one coin Marinara Pizza and Draft Beers! (Sony RX100)

Staycation in Akasaka Mitsuke with emphasis to get at least 10,000 - 20,000 steps a day so I walked from my hotel to Roppongi and on the way noticed Pizzania.  

Very quiet on a Friday night (July 17, 2020).  But this location is absolutely geared toward people stopping by after work but with all the remote working going on it was so barren due to coronavirus.

Counter and stool seating.  If you want a view of the chef definitely sit at the counter.

I'm a huge fan of pizza with toppings when on a date but when dining alone I tend to get the most basic pizza... on this night it was the 500 yen Marinara.  But the cheese Margherita was only 580 yen.

Love to see the spicy oil for pizza... 

Here it is!  Fresh out of the oven, sauce with hints of garlic very flavorful and the size was just right if you want to order multiple pizzas.  Its probably a tad smaller than a small Domino's Pizza.

Beer and Pizza 1,000 yen plus 100 yen tax.  Not too bad.

Nice Mercedes Benz C63 coupe just outside... not too sure about the green rims.

I went back for take-out a few days later!  Unfortunately you have to pay an additional 100 yen for a pizza box.  But ultimately this pizza is best served hot... so suggest to just eat it there.

It was very flavorful served cold... but the crust was a bit tough.  Both the waiter and chef just didn't say welcome or break a smile when I ordered.  I guess times are tough due to Covid19... the place was totally empty on this Sunday Night.  UBER GUYS UBER!!
