EBISU: Pile Cafe for a very lackluster bowl of curry with overly loud clubby BGM and smokers alert!

Lunch meeting and client suggested we check out Pile Cafe.  Daily lunch special was either the basil cream pasta or spicy seafood curry.  3 currys please!

The meal includes a small cup of soup, salad with rice noodles, main dish and a drink.

A few bites of the curry with what seemed to be pieces of squarely cut squid was so boring... there was no depth to this dish.  WOW... Japanese do curry so right but this was all wrong.  But looking into the kitchen it seemed to have been staffed by a very young guy... university student?

Interior is full concrete with no covering.

What almost seemed like club music was blasting thru the lunch and exactly at 1pm 4-5 people started smoking in a mad dash.  Definitely don't go after 1pm.

Overall this restaurant is dark at lunch and the food just too mediocre to even go for free.

Probably a great place to go at night for a drink as they have bug comfy leather sofa's but definitely don't bother with lunch.

GAIENMAE: Crabber House for some really tasty creamy crab tomato sauce pasta... yum!!

Today's daily lunch specials... Crab pasta with basil sauce or crab fried rice.  I was sitting directly in front of the chef at the counter so was a bit hesitant to take pics but the lunch menu is full of vibrant pictures.

I went with a mixed 1,000yen set.  Half order of super creamy tasty tomato sauce crab pasta with a half order of crab fried rice topped with egg and some light special sauce.

I wish I had not ordered the combo set and just stuck with this pasta... the creamy thickness was just so spot on.  Wish I had some bread to dip into this sauce.

Dedicated Pasta Chef and Fried Rice Chef... plus a dishwasher dressed as a Chef that enjoyed looking at me eat... ugh.  I WILL be back for the pasta soon! Oh the lunch set was incredibly filling.

Met up with tonights team... Toru, Kei, Kei's friend and of course Hiro.

And here I am!  This place has the BEST breads and the service so spot on friendly.

NAKAMEGURO: Salon De Huit with a view of Ferrari FF/Modena, Murcielago and Bentley

BALS is a great spot to stroll around in with their nice selection of wines, small gifts, food items, furniture etc but never did I try their cafe.

Nice selection of items but beyond costing a bit more than other cafe's its a very nice place just to chill for a few hours.

We were seated in the only sofa seating next to the huge window with views of the main road.

Friend ordered Tea with Honey... 

... I didn't realize they could be this generous with the honey.  A definite must!  Will be on my list for the next visit.

My 630yen unsweetened Cocoa... aaahhh... guess I'm paying for the cushy sofa.

Great little petite seasonal cake selections.  Hit the spot.

But if you are a guy who enjoys tea time with the ladies with the added benefit of being able to spot exotics right outside the comfy sofa seating this is the spot for you!  Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari FF, Ferrari Modena, Bentleys and a few more in the 1-2 hours were were there... and this was just the items I spotted between conversations.

If the comfortable sofa seating is available I'd definitely recommend this place for the views but if not you may be facing in a direction with less eye candy and more shutters...
