SAKURADAI: Pool & Darts + Poker Cafe "Side" ... Only 330 yen 30 min of darts of pool! Very spacious and super relaxing atmosphere. (Sony RX100)

I have always noticed this pool bar but never venture inside because these types of spots can be rather expensive in Tokyo.

BUT! They had this darts or billiards 30 minutes of all you can play for only 300 yen and no entrace charge.

Really spacious eh!

Quite the vast drink menu.

Drinks are only 600 yen.

Quite alot of pool tables! This was at 9pm on a Saturday night.. I think this place isnt very known and few Japanese people play pool or darts. Might be a great spot to hold a birthday party.

Dude I did pretty well here.

2 drinks and 30 minutes of pool for 2 only 1,930 yen.  Overall its such a nice billiiard bar in the suburbs... Just a few stop from Ikebukuro station.

SAKURADAI: Hagan for Fished based broth Tsukenem (Dipping Noodles)... hmm...

I'm a huge fan of Hagan's 破顔 soupless 汁なし ramen but I was on the fence this night to either stick with something I know and like or give their Tsukemen a try.  Walked inside and noticed a couple next to the ticket machine both enjoying Tsukemen... Ugh! I had to try it.

Tsukemen regular size "nami" 200g and medium size "chu-mori" 300g are both 700yen.

Arrived at 8:45pm on a Tuesday and at one point I was the only one here.  But before I left 3 other customers popped in.

There it is.  200 grams of noodles and the fish based soup broth.  I'm always confused whether to go for the same priced 200 grams or 300 grams... possibly the guilt of putting on too many carbs and 300grams really maxes out my belly.

The fish can be very overwhelming so if you are more of a tonkotsu/pork person this might not be the best choice.

I'm not a big fan of menma (bamboo shoots) so they replaced it with 2 pieces of seasweed.  Noodles will normally ALWAYS come out cold for tsukemen unless you request "Atsumori" (Hot Noodles).

Very soft pork for the tsukemen vs the soupless ramen that has fire grilled pork pieces.

Shinjuku Golden Gai's Nagi definitely ruined it for me in the Fish Broth department as nothing can compare to that amazing flavor. But hands down this place offers one of the best soupless ramen's in Tokyo... would I order their tsukemen again? Nope...

EKODA: Shamaim Israeli Restaruant... a little treasure in the burbs of Tokyo

I'm the biggest fan ever of Hummus but its soooo hard to find it in Tokyo and when you do the hours are normally whacky or the location is a bit out of the way... but after having past Shamaim シャマイム several times during lunch with no luck they were randomly open today!  Lucky or perhaps I've been there on off days.  Yippee!

It was just a very very nice dark cozy atmosphere... totally relaxing.

On the BGM when I entered... Shoef K'mo Evod by Yasmin Levy

I was here for the Falafel Set that included Hummus, Pita Bread, Salad and a small spicy green dish.
I definitely have to hit up the Belly dance Show :)

It was just a beautiful sight... its just been too long since I've had Hummus or Falafel.

I've only had these items as an adult so my review will probably be off... but the falafel had a great crunch on the outside and tasty in the middle.

This salad was amazing and sooo crunchy... the tomatos seemed a bit stewed and had a nice kick.

Loved this spice... wish I knew what it was.

2 Pita's.

Israeli beer Maccabee for 735yen.

Shop has been featured on so many magazines...

Dinner is gold... for 2,100yen its all you can eat... wow... not too bad.

The guy pictured here was the waiter/chef, friendly and great service.  I was just totally satisfied with my meal and made it a point to eat very slowly as to enjoy the great food and great music on the BGM.  I will definitely be back and you should give it a try!  Only 8 minutes from Ikebukuro and about 30min from Roppongi (via 1 transfer).  For Tokyo's Middle Eastern Foodie Ranking click HERE.
