IKEBUKURO: EFE Kebab has 350yen chicken kebabs in central Ikebukuro! Better value than McDs. GO GO! (Panasonic TZ60)

Heard about it... a 350 yen Kebab shop directly in front of Ikebukuro Station and just steps away from Donki!  WOW! Rents must be incredibly high here.

Wow I wonder what the margins are?  I guessing they might make 100 yen per kebab?

These cheaper kebabs are often dry but lots of volume and the sauce makes it very flavorful.  If you want something cheap in Ikebukuro you must go! Only 350 yen... its a no brainer.

NOGATA: Newly opened Kebab Sando! In times of after covid and high Inflation the Chicken Kebab was only 350 yen! (Sony RX100, iPhone X)

What! 350 yen for a Kebab after all this Covid Inflation! Im in! 

This was formerly friendly Doy Doy Kebab with 500-600 yen price points. 

Super friendly chef.  But the heat coming out of this small shop was overwhelming... staff must have been so hot.  

A bit dry but for the price its great... the sauce makes it very flavorful.

McDonalds or Kebab or Beef Bowl?  I say Kebab Sando.

IKEBUKURO: Kura Sushi... Its always incredibly amazing! Kaiten sushi at its best just goooo !! (Sony RX100)

Kura Sushi has got the be the highest quality Kaiten Sushi (Sushi Go Round) budget franchise in Japan... Sushiro might be a very close competitor.  

NOTE! Even if you are a solo diner select multiple people at the terminal and you will be seated at a booth.  The staff doesn`t check as all the orders are automated.

How to properly remove Sushi thats rotating around.  As for Tablet orders they come directly to your table on a conveyer belt. 

Sooo yum!  Seasoned Maguro called Zukemaguro.

Spicy Korean style Chanja (Spicy Cod Innards) ... a little bit chewy but its cut into small bites and the semi sweet spicy flavor is addictive.

This was a first... Maguro karaage.  A bit on the dry side but quite the volume!

Remember when applying shoyu just squeeze a few drops directly on the sushi.    You can see I put a little bit of Wasabi on top of the maguro.

I went back a few days later... never disappoints! 

If you had to just choose 1 wallet friendly sushi spot in Japan I highly suggest Kura Sushi.  Staff is always courteous, booths clean, food so fresh and you can pretty much chill here for as long as you want.  No pressure to order more than a few plates.  Just go go!
