SHIROKANE-TAKANAWA: Hope-Ken Ramen... hoping for the best but it was dead silent.

My birthday weekend and out with Toru the Nuclear Engineer... once again can't recall how good or bad his place was but at 2am they were open!  Late night places can be a major hit or miss so good luck~.

HIGASHI NAKANO: Pizzeria Ciro for Lunch B-Set: 450yen Marinara pizza! What a deal~

4 different lunch sets...  A+100yen (only drink), B+200yen (Drink, Salad), C+ (Drink, Salad and Antipasto set and D+400yen (Pizza of the day with Drink).

The least expensive item on the menu... Marinara (oregano, garlic and basilico).

Today's pizza special was the DOC (Mozzarella cheese, basilico and cherry tomatoes).

Tall glass of ginger ale and a fairly large salad... well worth the +200yen B Lunch Set. 

The interior was very relaxing with italian pics here and there.

There it is... 450yen in all its glory.  Probably the least expensive sit-in restaurant pizza's in Tokyo!

I can't complain... the cost performance was just great.

Overall a great spot and while I was dining 2 other foreigners came by so looks like its a hit with everyone and nicely ranked on Japan's foodie website too.  Friendly staff and lots of great pizza's to choose from... give it a try!  Its on the Oedo-line a stop or two from Shinjuku.

IKEBUKURO: Tairyuken 680yen Ramen...lowly foodie ranking 3.03pts.

This was the closing meal after 2 hours of all you can drink and Karaoke so I'm very hazy on how it tasted but the Tabelog foodies gave it a lowly 3.03points...

IKEBUKURO: ToriTetsu... All you can eat Yakitori! Best chicken butts in Tokyo :)

Friend took me out for some Bday all-you-can-eat Yakitori`\~

Two plans for the all you can eat (75 minutes)... 999yen (with chicken butt "bonjiri) or 1280yen.

1,800yen for the all you can drink plan 90minutes.

Bonjiri and gin-nan (yellow beans)...

Fried takoyaki

We were stuffed but shoulda tried harder to fill up this stick holder.

More Bonjiri!  It was the best item on the 999yen menu~...

Overall the young staff was super friendly and for only 999yen you really can't go wrong~... the all-you-can-drink plan is a bit pricy at 1,800 yen but lots of beer and sake is nice from time to time.
