OKAYAMA: Boston Steak! The roasted lettuce Caesar salad was goooo! Slightly expensive steak was meh... (Sony RX100M3)

Caeser salad with roasted lettuce! I rarely see this.

This salad was soooo goood... it arrived on a hot iron plate.  It was pretty massive too.

Stewed tomato and beef tendon 390 yen! What a deal.  So many great looking side dishes at very reasonable prices.  

Sooo flavorful tomato based sauce with tender pieces of beef.  390 yen a no brainer.

I waited nearly an hour for this 3,500 yen sliver of a Spenser roll steak. 

The meat was tender in some areas and a little fatty.

Would I pay 3,500 yen again for this... nah.  I suggest ordering all the American style side dishes would be a better bet here. So if you go just order a drink or two and enjoy those very wallet friendly dishes.  Pass on the meat. Oh... a couple next to me waited nearly 45 minutes for their 1st order so with just 1 chef this place will try your patience.

OSAKA SHINSEKAI: Niku-No-Sakamoto. Beef steak sandwich to perfection... 500 yen so tender! (Pentax K-5iis)

 

Just a few minutes walk from Tsutenkaku Tower is this fairly abandoned shopping arcade called Shinsekai Shijo... Kind of reminds me of the shopping arcade in central Naha (Okinawa)

This place must have been super busy pre-internet era.

Time for my sandwich!

Menu choices are Beef Katsu 500 yen or Tonkatsu (pork) 450 yen Sandwich. 

The 80 yen corokke seemed to be a hit too.

The lady preparing my sandwich in the back was taking her time... making it perfect.

She sliced off the bread ears and cut up the sandwich into 6 pieces. Took about 10 min.

Sooo meaty and nicely favored with special sauce.  It was sooo good.

There is a tiny table and one skinny bench if you want to eat in 

If you are in the area definitely give the beef sandwich a try! Will be back!

KICHIJOJI: Finally made it to Yappari Steak! 1st Okinawan Steak branch in Tokyo! Tender steaks! (Sony RX100)

Huge fan of anything Okinawan and finally got a chance to visit their only branch in Tokyo!

Take out menu!  Noticed 2 Japanese Uber style delivery services pick up a few bentos. 

Push button system... Staff was very helpful if you need assistance. 

Stuck with the original Yappari Steak 150 grams. 

All you can eat cabbage, macaroni, egg soup and rice station... self serve!

Lots of sauces!  Usually mix the garlic steak sauce with minced garlic. 

Just like Okinawa! Tender as every.... comes on a very hot iron plate so you can continue to grill to your preference.  

Hit the spot for me!  If in search of a family friendly steak restaurant give Yappari Steak a try!

OH Due to coronavirus I haven`t been out that much... hopefully I can start eating out regularly soon.
