OSAKA DOTONBORI: Bikkuri Donkey for their super reasonable 745 yen Hamburger Steak Dish next to Glico Man! (Sony RX100M2)

I was so surprised to see Bikkuri Donkey Hamburger steak franchise located right next to the famed Ebisu Bridge and Glico Man Sign... rents must be massive here. 

This was all me! 745 yen for a regular hamburger steak set called "Regular Hambagu- Dish" 150 grams.  Simple with no toppings etc.

I was seated in a 2 person booth but along the window there are views of the river.

There it is! 745 yen 150 grams of burger plus salad and rice. 

No Tabasco sauce but they do have little packets of Habanero.  Just ask the waiter.

Overall the burger was juicy and just hit the spot.  Had a very nice flavor to it. 

Tax inclusive! What a deal... great place to take a breather in comfy booth seating.

Proper Covid19 safety precautions... they take your temperature and you need to sanitize your hands.

Bikkuri Donkey is a nationwide franchise so if you want a very satisfying meal definitely go!

ROPPONGI: Ikinari Steak! 3 years later I revisit for an unreal 300 gram Hamburger Steak for only 1,100 yen! GENEROUS!

Ikinari steak is booming in Japan and they are now branching out overseas but after my first visit I had no interest to return... the more you the pay the better the quality and quantity but who wants to stand for steak.

WILD HAMBURG 300grams for only 1,100 yen!  This was all me!  You will NOT find such generous portions at this price point anywhere in Tokyo.

It was a HUGE round chunk of burger... almost like meatloaf.  There are several different sauce toppings you can use at the table but it comes with original sauce topping also.   You really can't go wrong with this choice!

More and More Japanese franchise are recruiting young bilingual South East Asian staff...  Japanese youth are very selective as to where they want to work and we gotta appreciate young mostly college foreigners.  Another friendly face.

If you need Volume then definitely go for the 300 grams burger!  I'll be back.
