CALIFORNIA: Manhattan Beach Creamery has the most chewy delicious chocolate chip cookies! SOOOO YUM!

In Tokyo there are really no places to get a decent chocolate chip cookie and if do locate one its about 300 yen per.  So when in the USA on a business trip I am always on the hunt for cookies. 

Creamery seemed to have alot of cookie ice cream sandwiches. 

But a dozen mini chocolate chip cookies for $8 was all me!  These things were soooo incredibly chewy with big chips and sooooo flavorful.  Just loved them!

When in Manhattan Beach you gotta buy a few cookies.

OMOTESANDO: Bubby's for a great chewy chocolaty Chocolate Chip Cookie! Its Christmas already!

Bubbys... Tribeca...Tokyo?  I totally forgot about the Bubby's that had opened up in Ark Hills and randomly came across their Shiodome Branch.  Had to check it out!

Lots of massive cakes!

Interior was incredibly spacious and at 8:40am I nearly had the entire place to myself.

I was here just for the 150yen cookie.

They will ask if you wanted it heated in the microwave oven... I opted out.  The cookie was super chewy with a generous amount of chocolate chips.  In Japan its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a decent cookie... the best you can do is at the convenient store or perhaps Starbucks.

Free water with your cookie.

If I'm ever back in this area I'll surely be back for another cookie and may explore the American breakfast menu.  The Eggs Benedict and Sour Cream Pancake are on my list!

HIROO: SUTTER's General Store for 50 cent Chocolate Chip Cookies! I used a dollar in Tokyo!

This place only accepts dollars!  And I only needed 1 to get two of the big chocolate chip cookies :)

What! Samuel Adam's only $1.30 each.  

Starbucks Frappuccino!  $2.50 each and not available in any Japanese supermarket.

Ben and Jerry's!  Oh my... 

It was just so American to enjoy a few Chocolate Chip cookies in a land where you there are no Mrs. Fields cookies shops... the best you can do in Tokyo are Krispy Kreme or Mr. Donuts.  I really enjoyed my short few hours at the New Sanno Hotel lobby eating my cookies.
