GINZA: BBC Antwerp Six for alot of pricey Belgian Beers... there were so many women here. Ginza is nice :)

I rarely goto Ginza but after a drink with my friend in Roppongi we cabbed it and it only cost JPY 1,300!  Is it really that close!?  Might have to goto Ginza more often.

I'm a fan of Japanese beers and the occasional craft beer but rarely do I drink European beers due to the cost... most were between 1,000 to 2,000 yen per glass.

So many choices... so lost.

The girls ordered chocolate... i guess it goes well with beer?

The staff pours each drink at the table.

Just a quick beer update.  Had dinner with 2 stewardess friends and was nice evening.

Friday night dinner in Nishi Azabu...

Arrived exactly at 6pm but they finally opened up around 6:15pm...

I always order the Motsu-Nikomi... very flavorful soup.

This restaurant specializes in Oden...

... and Yakitori.  Yakitori will take some time to come out but definitely worth the wait. The waitress will ask you if you prefer Ta-leh (sauce) or Shio (salt) seasoning on the yakitori.

Normally 600 yen but for 6-8pm Happy Hour the drinks are 350yen.

Liver and Tsukune.

Oden... hmm... oden... very simple if taste.  Can't go wrong.

The Tebasaki was gooooood.

I saw someone ordering this massive Kurokiri-Shima shochu and I just had to have one... it was VERY strong... oh my!  If on a budget go with this as the waitress puts ALOT of shochu in the glass.

I didnt think we ordered that much but hmm....must have been the beers.

1F counter seating was rather quiet... might be nice as there were many smokers on 2F.

This is a great place to hang out with a small group of friends... the older lady waitress was very responsive and the drinks came out quickly.  

Passed by on October 3rd and this wonderful little izakaya is now a parking lot.

HOYA: Dario Italian Restaurant... friendly and cozy home style Italian. Food was simply flavored.

Invited to Dario but a friend living in this neighborhood.  Looks like the Chefs home is upstairs and the 1F and basement (storage) is used as a restaurant.

Like the pricing of the drinks as it forces me to drink in moderation.

Only beer on tap is  Draft Edel Pils.

Pasta's. 

Salads etc.

There is a long 8 person counter seating that faces the chef, 2 tables for 2 and 1 table for 4. 

Penne Arrabiatta always a must for me!  The flavor was very simple and almost plain... but it was a nice change as I often eat very flavorful almost salty foods.

Gorgonzola Pasta.... very creamy.

Grilled chicken.

Loved the pistachio ice cream.

Overall its a nice cozy Italian restaurant in the burbs...
