NERIMA: Freshness Burger... could a chef be any more unsanitary? Won't be back ever~

In a burger kind of mood and decided to step into Freshness Burger. 

Burgers start at 350 yen for the basic Teriyaki Burger an up to 760yen for a double cheese burger.

My pineapple avocado shake... very small and mediocre.

Smoking is allowed in the back seating area... not a fan.

Onion rings incredibly oily greasy.

Now... when I was ordering at the register I had a full view of the kitchen with the lone female chef in her 40's.  She grabbed sliced tomatoes with her hands and place it on the burgers... didn't think much of it until she started handling everything in the kitchen with the same bare hands then returning to the burger station to prep more burgers.  I really think she should have used some type of hand sanitizer.  

Tomato was ice cold, the beef patty thin and lifeless... honestly I ate half and left.

Never again.  If you want to try a Japanese franchise spot then hit up MOS Burger or LOTTERIA.

OMOTESANDO: Omotesando Terrace. Mercury Duo x Peach John Collaboration launch party! Finger foods and models...

One of the perks of working in the licensing/textile industry are the occasional parties.

Tonight we headed to the MercuryDuo x Peach John launch party in Omotesando.

We entered to a sea of young girls who are fans of Mercury Duo... felt quite out of place until we headed into a partitioned section with the business folks.

Lots of Froosh bottles shakes.

Met some cool people..  Producer for brands at 109, a manager and model for JELLY.

Had a chance to meet Jelly Model Rei... her top 3 favorite foods: Yakiniku, Sushi and Strawberries.

Omotesando Terrace is owned by a major wedding company called Take and Give Needs... very nice terrace with a mini pool.

Yup... it was a free flowing bar.

ASAGAYA: Wash1n Tokyo... Craftbeer meets Gyoza! It's a mix that doesn't quite go too well.

Stuck with the 10% alcohol Angel "Tenshi" Wheat Wine.

473ml 1 US Pint for 850yen!  Not too bad for a pint of Craftbeer.

They also had bottles of sake.

The automatic otoshi appetizer was great!  Super tender pork with a slow sauteed onion topping sitting on a mashed potatoes... yum!

Gyoza menu starts from 450yen for plain but there are fun items too... ao-shiso, shrimp, cheese, chorizo and also Sui-Gyoza's. 

My friend selected the potato platter... hmm... 

Gyoza was very ordinary and didn't compliment the craft beers at all... it caused the flavor of the beer to change... ugh.

Another Tenshi please!

Interior was very comfy... kinda like a bar in the US.

The staff was friendly and the craft beers extremely reasonable!
