NERIMA:UOTAMI Izakaya... great food menu but more for the 1,000yen Nomihoudai Plan :)

In a town where the cheapest mug beer is over 300yen why hot hit up Uotami Izakaya for their 1,000yen 2 hour all you can drink menu :)

Otoshi and table charge here is 360yen.  They give each person this 3 item appetizer.

Get ready to remove those shoes!  

The all you can drink menu... if you want real beer then its +200 but Happoshu beer is just as good. The catch is that each person must order 2 food items.  

Gyoza around 300yen.

This chicken was tough!  I gave up after one piece...

...didn't quite look like the pictgure.

Oh this was a first and probably last for me... FROZEN Squid with some very pungent sauce and filled with I'm not sure what...

Uotami and Watami Izakaya's have great picture menu's.

The regular drink menu... Real mug beer's are 481yen!  So its best to go with the 1,000 yen all you can drink plus 200yen for real beer... drink 2.5 and you are already in the clear.

Overall its just a great place to enjoy drinks without worrying about the bill. Totally recommend it! Oh a great thing about this place is there are so many private booth seats.

GAIENMAE: Steak No Kuishinbo for a 690yen A Lunch Set.... mushy burger but tasty karaage chicken :)

This sign always stops me dead in my tracks... how can any guy not have a double take on pics of steak and burgers.  Had to go!

There are 2 U shaped counter seats for the single diners and tables in the back.

The Daily special "A-Set" changes daily and written on this chalkboard.  It was Kara-age Chicken and Hamburger.

Consomme soup comes with the lunch set.

There we go!  You can have free refills on the rice.  The burger was very mushy with no meaty texture... kinda like eating mashed potatoes.  But the highlight was definitely the boneless fried chicken.  Had a nice hit of peppery flavor.

There were ZERO ladies here and just all salarymen... don't recommend bringing a girl here.  Just a spot to quickly fill you up and leave within 20min or so.

AOYAMA: I spotted another Belgian Waffle shop MANNEKEN! But it wasn't as tasty as the Ginza branch... a bit stale?

Went for the Chocolate coated waffle.

A few bites and I realized it wasn't fresh out of the oven... a bit soft or stale?  I think because there isn't a steady line of customers like the Ginza branch so these waffles can sit on the shelf for quite a long time.  Oh well... I probably won't return here for my Manneken fix.
