When in Okinawa Fab Mart is a must! Usually the Tacos are 400 yen but you can get a 3 mini piece set for 880 yen. This day I gave it a try!

The selections! Of course I had to get the Spicy tuna x 2 because im Hawaiian like that! And one spicy grilled shrimp.  But the Jerk Chicken, Carnitas and Octopus looked great too.

View of a small Okinawa traditional music izakaya.  Spoke to the owner and he starts playing music at 8pm plus they have Karaoke for 100 yen.

OMG! The spicy tuna was sooooo good!  The chef said they actually purchase an entire Tuna from the fish market and chop it up in the kitchen. Fresh!

The tuna was perfectly firm... flavor soooo addictive.

When I turned around I noticed a bunch of chilled Heartland Bottle beers for only 40 more yen that the draft beer I got.  Think this is a better value! Sooooo

OKINAWA URASOE: A&W Makiminato for some great chilly curly fries! Trilingual staff super friendly. (Sony a58)

 

When I was little my mother would occasionally take my sister and me to the local A&W drive thru near Kadena Air Base.  Its been soooooo many years since I tried the burgers here. SO! 

You can park your car here and order away.

Makiminato is an incredibly spacious branch

Got the simple burger with grilled onions topped with tarter sauce and a plate of curly fries, crispy sliced potato fries topped with cheese and chili!

Free Ketchup station

The bun was nice and chewy.

Its a very cozy burger.  Enjoyed the onions.

But had to add some Ketchup, put a bunch of curly fries and chili inside to make me own Frankenstein burger! Totally customized... yum!

Dinner plates... Its been so long since I was here that I didnt fully look at all the menu items. My cashier was from Nepal and didnt want to ask what he recommended... felt bad to pressure him. But the guy was Trilingual! Wow

Interior is super cozy with lots of seating.  Unfortunately the seats were aligned so if you sit in a certain spot everyone is directly facing you.  I was fully surrounded by people facing my way. Kinda awkward.

A little pool thing for kids to play in plus they had tiny out door showers.

Okinawa has always been a friendly spot for stray cats.  Overall A&W is has been on the island for years and a very family friendly spot.  If you have kids give it a try! Price point is better than MOS Burger and quality much better.
